Fairy Tale | Staci Wilson

Covers

I read a book yesterday
That I never thought I would.
It was ripped and torn and soiled
On each corner, cover and page.

I swore I’d never read it,
But then my teacher said:
“If you don’t you’ll fail for sure,”
So I plugged my nose and dove right in.

It was hard at first and scary,
But then it happened, BAM!
the beastly book was different now:
A prince, a treasure, a beauty!
