Stranger Than Wal-Mart

"Some 138 million Americans shop at Wal-Mart each week, making it perhaps the single most unifying cultural force in the country."

Pebble | Bree Seely

Tiny pebble in my shoe-
What am I to do with you?
Take you back to your home?
Or leave you here, all alone?
Where are you from? What's your name?
Are you tired of playing this little game?
My pebbly friend, how I envy you-
To go where you want, to do what you do.
To see the world one crick at a time.
To never worry about a time line.
To show your beauty so people can see.
To live your life as if you were me.

O how I envy you.
